Your posts

Everything you type is formatted in your browser. Your text is never sent to our server and we don't keep it.

What we store

Your browser (or the extension's storage) keeps a random ID, how many free formats you've used, and whether you've unlocked. When you unlock, our server stores that random ID next to the payment so it can tell your browser the purchase went through. It holds no name or email.

Payments

Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the merchant of record. Polar collects your email and card details and handles tax, under its own privacy policy. We receive the order ID and the random ID you bought with.

The extension

The extension runs only on linkedin.com, where it adds style buttons to text boxes and changes the text you select when you press one. It doesn't read your feed, messages or profile, and sends nothing to us except the random ID when it checks whether you've unlocked.

Cookies and tracking

Postfold sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs.
